NEWS FROM THE PROVINCIAL CHARITY STEWARD
Freemasons in Cornwall are actively involved in Masonic and Non-Masonic
donations in a number of ways. In addition to their commitment to help
their fellow masons and dependants there is a strong responsibility
to support Charities and fundraising appeals locally, nationally and
internationally.
The Cornwall Masonic Benevolent Fund, which is supported entirely
by the Freemasons of Cornwall, makes Non-Masonic donations each year,
and in 2005 gave over £6,000 to National and Local Charities
to be expended within Cornwall.

Lodges too are encouraged to support their local communities and charities
that have a special significance to them.

In 2004 over £51,500 was donated by Lodges to Non-Masonic
Charities (Local and International) and Community Appeals. |

disasters, both home and abroad, including £50,000
