What's Happening on the Day?

The day begins with participants gathering from 10:00am at Grants Walk and Biddicks Court ahead of the main Armed Forces Day Parade.

At 11:00am, the parade will make its way through St Austell town centre, featuring Armed Forces personnel, veterans, cadet organisations, standards, and supporting groups from across Cornwall.

Following the parade, a formal salute will be taken at the War Memorial by the Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall, providing a fitting opportunity to reflect on the dedication and sacrifices made by our Armed Forces community.

Throughout the afternoon, visitors can explore the Military Village at White River Place and Aylmer Square, featuring military displays, community stands, activities, and opportunities to learn more about the organisations supporting serving personnel, veterans, and their families.

There will also be a fantastic programme of live entertainment throughout the day, including performances from military bands, the Dreckly Boys, and Rachel Best.

Get Involved
Associations, veterans' groups, and community organisations wishing to take part in the parade are still invited to register their interest.
