The Lodge of Love and Honour No 75 is proud to announce a donation of £400 to the excellent Falmouth-based charity, Turn to Starboard.

Worshipful Brother Kevin Head and his wife Jo recently visited the charity’s base in Falmouth to personally present the donation. During their visit, they were given a guided tour of the charity’s impressive Mersey Pilot Schooner, the Spirit of Falmouth, by Chief Instructor Paul Miller.

Turn to Starboard uses the therapeutic effects of sailing and the sea to support Armed Forces personnel, veterans, and their families who have been affected by military operations. As the charity emphasizes, their work is about so much more than sailing:

"It’s about respite and recovery. It’s about people and human connection… and most of all, it’s about finding purpose and navigating life with intention and fulfilment."

The funds donated by Lodge of Love and Honour No 75 will directly contribute to supporting this vital work, providing life-changing sailing courses and qualifications to those who have served our country.
