Provincial Grand Master's Christmas Message

Provincial Grand Master's Christmas Message

Dear Brethren,

I am delighted to send you this Christmas message at the end of what has been an
important and eventful year for our Province, but also a sad year during which we have again
lost far too many of our brethren.

The past year has certainly been a busy one, and I would like to thank you all for the
kindness and support that you have shown to me over the past year, together with your
commitment and support for my Executive and all brethren within our wonderful Province.

This year, we have seen the membership of our Province continue to grow, and it is
reassuring to see so many light blue brethren at our meetings. It must be remembered, though, that we join Freemasonry rather than just the Craft, and we must build together to ensure we really have “One Journey, One Organisation”

We have, however, suffered the loss of too many of our brethren during the year, including our Past Grand Superintendent RW Bro David Pascoe and our thoughts and prayers must be with all the families of the bereaved at this time.

As the Festive season approaches, let us remember our Masonic principles – Brotherly Love,
Relief and Truth, and all strive to fulfil these ideals. Let us extend our hearts and hands
throughout our communities, spreading the spirit of goodwill to all mankind.

I recently launched my appeal to raise £50,000 to buy a Rezum machine for the Urology
department in Truro. The purchase of this equipment will make so much difference to the
lives of men in our community, and I know that I can rely on your continued generosity.
And of course, as this year ends, we can look forward to the New Year with hope and
renewed enthusiasm.

The year ahead is filled with possibilities, and together we can achieve much. Let us
approach it with determination, kindness and a shared commitment to the principles that
guide us as freemasons.

I am so grateful to you all for the many hours of volunteer commitment, charitable support
and service that you give to our local communities, as well as the funding you provide.

I wish you and your families a very happy and peaceful Christmas and a happy, healthy, and
successful New Year.
