.. THE WEST ARE THE CHAMPIONS! 🥳🍏
What a fantastic day on the green at Helston Bowls Club for our second annual Stewards Cup! From seasoned pros to absolute beginners, today was a brilliant display of Brotherhood, Friendship, and Sportsmanship.
A massive congratulations to the West of the Province for taking home the victory. We have a very happy Deputy Provincial Grand Master (DPGM) tonight, although our Provincial Grand Master (PGM) took the defeat with his usual grace and utmost sportsmanship!
A big thank you to Ian Wass and all at Helston Bowling Club for hosting and to all those friends and family that kept everyone hydrated.
🍰 The Scone Debate...
Aside from the bowls, the Stewards Scone Bake-Off for the Rezum Appeal was a massive hit. The cream teas were an absolute winner today, if you were quick enough to grab one! Word has it that one particular gentleman missed his opportunity entirely and was left daydreaming about jam and clotted cream. Better luck next time! 🤫
🏢 Where is the cup now?
The prestigious Stewards Cup is now proudly on display in Helston Masonic Hall... but it won’t stay there forever. Next year, it goes up for competition once again. The big question is: What will be the sport for 2027?! 🏏 🪵 🎯
